Truweld Engineering is a Northland based Engineering business located in Waipapa and has been in the Kerikeri (Bay of Islands) area since 1970.
The company under various owners has expanded with the growth of the Kerikeri and wider Far North area, servicing customers from Kaitaia to Kaikohe, Paihia, Russell, in short north of Whangarei.
Under the present ownership at their Waipapa site Truweld is set to double its turnover of 5 years ago.
The workshops have been expanded from the original 300m2 with an additional 240m2 added in the later half of 2003.
This addition considerably eased the congestion caused by the expansion of the business and, as the existing wall was left in effectively creating two separate shops to avoid cross contamination when working on heavy structural steel work – grinding cutting and welding – and stainless steel or aluminium on trucks or boats on the other.
